To frame something - 'to create and develop something such as a plan, a system or a set of rules'
To be framed - 'to put or make a frame or border around something'

In this project I'm using painting, video and photography together to explore the possible interactions
between a subject (my body) and the frame of a painting, photo and video. During this process I also put a
discipline on my body through diet and exercise to be able to stay in a difficult positions as a model and
have a desired form to show through my works.
It is also a dialogue between different mediums - static photography and changing video frames - and also
a commentary on a manipulative nature of photography (as on the social media and advertising culture)
opposed to a more informative and truthful trait of videography and film.
It's about limitations - ones that I put intentionally on myself, that give me a sense of safety, and those
coming from the outside - rules, obligations and prohibitions that I want to (or I'm afraid to) break.
It's about having a body. Being a body. Being able to perform. And move. And being aware of possibilities
that come from being in a physical form.
